Who is Daphne?

The manufacturing plant of Daphne is located in Gebze/Istanbul, Turkey. It is the same plant which was previously owned by Debant, the leading Turkish FIBC producer which went out of business several years ago.

In 2008 international investors established Daphne and the company started FIBC manufacturing with a new management. Many of the workforce are previous Debant employees with up to 20 years experience in the FIBC business.

In 2010, after optimizing and increasing the capacity, the company produced around two million FIBCs. 70% of output is exported worldwide, though Europe remains the principal sales territory. Daphne is investing continuously to extend capacity and quality for the next years.

The sales headquarter is Daphne Europe GmbH in Neckarsulm, Germany.

The main user industries are food, fertilizers, agriculture, salt, chemicals, mining, etc. There is a wide range of bag categories in the product line of Daphne including 4-loop, 2-loop, single point lift, liners, conductive and formstable BIG BAG types.

An own test laboratory and clean production facilities that meet HACCP requirements complete our competence is in accordance with ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 norms.

The company concentrates exclusively on FIBC production and is member of EFIBCA.
